As Kellie May, the 2019 Utah Teacher of the Year, celebrates her selection in Washington, D.C. this week, it is an appropriate time to remind all local education agencies that we welcome your participation in the 2020 Utah Teacher of the Year program.
Here is the application that you can provide to your LEA-selected Teacher of the Year.
Please inform Alisha Steed of the name and email of your selected Teacher of the Year at Alisha.steed@schools.utah.gov, and please feel free to forward the application to them.
I would like to have the name of your Teacher of the Year submitted to Alisha as soon as possible but no later than May 24, and the final applications for consideration as the 2020 Utah Teacher of the Year will be due by June 24, 2019.
Thank you for your participation in the program, a fantastic way to celebrate excellence, teacher leadership, and the vital role teachers play in the lives of Utah students.
